Business and Covid - The Symptomatic Relationship....!!!!

Similarity between - Business and Corona Virus Spread
Think how your business grows - when you start you have a hand-full of resources be it money, clients, areas, procurement houses, designs etc etc.
You would require so many things/ hosts to build up and all in sufficient amount to scale up gradually.
Now as you grow you will realise that if your design and scheme is perfect the effort you take to rise from Rs hundreds to Rs thousands takes lot of time and money. Rising from Rs thousands to Rs Lakhs takes a little less time and then from Rs Lakhs to Rs Crores takes an even smaller time.
The stupid Corona Virus seems to be doing the same fuk. It had expanded it's business by building up it's hosts - HUMANS.It has used all the modern business techniques all in one -
1. First it incubated in the passive time( Lead Time ), when china was enjoying it's new year holidays,
2. Expanded from one centre ( Wuhan wet market ) to the full area (Marketing ),
3. Then it choose the most influential clients (international passengers - globalisation ) to spread it arms.
4. Then Multi-level-marketing began to operationalise in scattered areas.
5. Then it got excess media coverage and attraction ( Branding ).
6. And now it's creating monopoly - all hospitals and medical services are aligned to treat just one disease.
Now You might think that Business was for doing good and Corona Virus is for doing BAD.
Think again.
MERS, SARS, Ebola and many other such community to community diseases could not expand due to restrictions and non-connectivity of many nations. Globalisation was not there.
Hard to take the pill that globalisation and DEVELOPMENT's have made this world a hell to live in - there's more pressure to accomplish more, the fear of being left out, no fresh air to breathe, no fresh water to drink.
Growth is always being measured in the amount of money one is making, and not the contribution one is doing for upliftment of the society at large.
Even BIG financial donation makers always steal the headline but the ones who dedicate their whole life in upliftment seldom get noticed.
Abolishing China seems a good step as of today, but then another China will emerge in some other form - like the terrorist organisation - killing OSAMA, then SADAM then xyz and so on and on.
LIMIT your usage TODAY if you want to set a better and bigger tomorrow.
Business require to break the chain somewhere - they need some isolation and quarantine mode also. They require to be self satisfied somewhere.
THINK ABOUT IT....!!!!!
NB:- The first post of the same had been done in my facebook profile..!!

" A Love Dream with open eyes"
- A sonnet by Pawan Naulakha

She came in my dreams,
While I was sleeping all awake.
She showed her brown band,
While I was sinking in deep pain.
Her rabbit like smile, with her teeth protruding so bright,
I was looking in the left but she was to set me right.
She walked gently, towards my side,
To hold me tight and pull me out of the dirty tide.
She touched my heart, she held me high,
I wrapped her in, never to say good bye.
She held my hand and knocked my soul,
I promised her, never to let her alone.
She sang, she ran in bewilderment she rang,
I felt her warmth, in her eyes I drank.
Far in the Hardy's like a pendulum we swang,
I held her tight and like a child I pranked.
A love knot, the 3 bell and a smiley she gave,
I used it to turn my fortunes all red.
She gave me her trust,
And I kicked it in the dust.

A VALENTINE .... I wait for you to be mine.

A valentine,
I still wait for you to be mine,
To be present for a sip of wine,
Over the evening dine.

You wait for me all dresses,
I wander all over for my lust,
It can never be a just,
For meeting you was a must.

The cam was on,
But I was gone,
Yes, it now feels all alone,
For it was just a half battle won.

I curse, I die,
I lie, I cry,
In your thoughts I dry,
And here all my emotions fry.

The feelings were put on a scale,
To measure which side got a high,
The one who bought you up,
The other who made you walk.

The scale was balance,
But I was unbalanced,
The final call to the den,
It was made, but I was red.

A valentine,
I still wait for you to be mine............

I said “BUSINESS” and she said “IT’s ALL ABOUT BALANCE”

How often we have heard people talk about business and the art of mastering it. It’s difficult but exciting, it’s risky but rewarding, it’s painful but enjoyable, it’s fragile but long lasting, it’s all about the art of mastering to balance. The one’s who can learn to balance the situation can walk out rewarded and happy.
There always has to be a proper balance between the family life, social life and yes business life. You might have always seen that the one’s who run the most healthiest business all across the world are often one of the most balanced people in life. The moment you start over weighting any one of the circle the others get deflated and imbalanced. A multi billion dollar famous Indian businessman Ratan Tata always emphasised that Come and leave office in time. In the hour of need no presentation, meetings or office work will come in use but it’s the people whom you have given time will help you out”.

The points which effect the way of doing business are:-

1.Game of balancing:-
There is a very fine line between calling a business successful or failure. It’s just like the thin rope propelled between the two buildings and the man balancing his moves from one end to the other while holding his plans intact. The one who balances well on rope  and covers the entire distance, is the one who wins and the others who commits the smallest of the mistake at any point are the ones fall off from the game.If you are in the clothing line, you must be knowing the importance of exact measurement., the fitting and the body shapes. The perfect cut and the perfect knowledge of millimetre takes you to the club of ZARA’s,but an inch more or less and you end up being called any other brand.

2.The power of patience:-
You might have often heard that the calmer you are internally the powerful you will be externally. It’s all about calculating what is the right time to strike. In the game of football there is a long story so as to why the no 9 jersey in the football arena is allotted to the prime striker of the team, he is the one who is always surrounded by opposition, but he is the man upon whom the management vest’s their confidence. Nines' know their moves well, they talks to themselves, they have the sharp vision of an eagle, the cunning moves of the fox, they stay patient as they strikes at the exact calculated time to hear the crowd roar - “It’s a GOOOOAL”. If they stays impatient, if they bow down in front of pressure, if they kick in haste - they will be called a waste. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN once saidHe who shall be patient would attain everything in life” and then we know he is there right in centre of the most valued currency note of this world - the AMERICAN DOLLAR.
For business entities, if you deal in seasonal items like AC’s which sell in summers or Umbrellas which sell in rainy season or Winter apparels which sell only in winters you would know how important patience plays a role in determining your profit margins. Being patient but being aware about what is the correct time of purchasing the goods, moving in a little bit forward than the rest of the market, getting the correct stock and that too at the least possible price. It is all about timing - if you can judge the correct time of opening the goods, setting the correct selling price and clicking for the right time you can earn a big fat margin, but if you falter in estimating any of the factors determining your sales - BOOOMM…!!! you end up making a mess of your purchase. There are testing times when the weather, or any of the estimated condition do not favour your business - it is then that this word “PATIENCE” comes into play a lot. The people who can master this skill at these testing times are the ones who will be called winners in the longer run.

3.Style of convincing :-
Have you read the great story of the task given to an entrepreneur of selling ice to an eskimo. Now imagine yourself to be an eskimo who lives in an igloo and is surrounded all around with ice - tired due to over presence of it and then someone else comes there to sell the very thing that you have been fed up with. This person has to be stylishly smart to do such a task. The conclusion of the story was - he not only sold ice but made huge profits after selling it. HOW? Believe me it’s all about the style of convincing. He came and surveyed what were people doing with ice other than just making an igloo for their shelter. The only thing he found was people where using ice to make snowballs and decorating it. An idea struck in the mind of the business man. He thought what is the most valuable thing in the manufacturing process - raw material, machinery, economics of selling at low price and obviously knowing what to make of it. He brought machines made softy ice creams from the abundant ice in a fabulous presentable manner and then sold it to eskimos living there. Humans are emotional beings and their brains can be tweaked and moulded - but to only something which is radically convincing. Here I quote the famous ALBERT EINSTEIN “Make everything simple as possible, but not simpler”.

4. Ruthless Practice:-
The great footballer Leo Messi once said “ It took me 17 years 114 days to be an overnight success “. For those who think playing the game of business is easy go have a candy and take a sleep. If you’ve played a game of cricket in your live you would be knowing that there are various types of shots a batmen can play in order to obtain the runs. Every shot requires a special skill. The cuts, the flicks, the square cut, the leg glance, the hook, the pull, the reverse sweep and so many other shots to offer. Every shot requires a special muscle in the body to be put into correct use. Some shots require more of the wrist work, some require the head to be balanced in line with the ball, some require the body to be solidly firm behind the ball - it’s all about knowing which part to be used when and believe me all these things do not come naturally instead all these things have to be cultivated and mastered with time and all it takes is ruthless practice. The great Sachin Tendulkar recalls practicing over 10 hours for getting his straight drive perfected. The wall of Indian cricket - Rahul Dravid did hours and hours of practice to just stay at the field and sweat it our for his team. There is not something called a perfect business plan. You have to keep changing, testing and modifying it time and again. Setting the best practice into use and then rehearsing it time and again so that it is perfected in every aspect. When you start a business you always start with the larger picture in mind and then start weaving and fine-tuning it to the core base, you start paying importance to each and every aspect of what is effecting your business and then doing the reverse process of setting the right practice at every point. If you stop practicing you stop businessing it’s as simple as that.

5. It’s worthless without competitors:-
Suppose you were the only political partly ruling the country facing no opposition and having no real opponents. Would you enjoy campaigning for a cause? Would you be made aware of your loopholes? Even the victory obtained would not have been so tasteful. Imagine if the roads would have been smooth and straight as an arrow, there would have been no uneven waves in the ocean, the air would have been clean and having the same density thought the earth who would have been called a skilful driver- a sailor or a pilot? Whom would be rewarding the medals, whom would we be calling the best in the segment? We should not fear but learn to embrace the competitors. Keep a check on their movement, track their pitfalls and then start attacking on their loopholes. Chanakya once said “Before placing your move, you should watch your competitors moves”. A clever, sharp and cunning businessman would always keep a check on what different is his competitor trying. We are all aware of the fierce Pepsi Coco-Cola cold war - aren’t we? But never be disheartened by the way your competitors are performing instead take it as a launchpad - tap their short falls and use it to jump higher and further.

LEADERS - DO what they love and love what they DO...!!!

Every individual is born with different instincts and different identity. You may never be able to judge the potential of the fish by it's ability to climb the tree or the caliber of the monkey by it's ability to swim underneath the water beds. Likewise all individuals are born with different potentials levels and different mastering areas. Just to give you a few examples - the dwarfs in the earlier ages and the marwari's/ gujarati's in the present are blessed with high levels of business acumen, the bengalis with knowledge assimilation, the Punjabi's with the culinary skills, the Khan's with the acting skills and so are many others. BUT the real challenge lies in identifying THAT HIDDEN BLIND SPOT and striking it hard times and again.
There are born leaders, there are made leaders, there are curated leaders and there are so many other forms of leaders which exists in todays world. But the Real, Original, True and Remembered leaders are the one's who follow their instincts and have the courage to follow their GUT FEEL. They are the ones who follow their instincts and end up doing what they Love.

Sachin Tendulkar - the legendary Indian batsmen failed to score big in his school exams but he scored biggies on the cricket field. Leo Messi - the football icon did not have sufficient amount to buy new pair of shoes to shape his goals for a football career but he had sufficient potential to score goals which mattered. Abraham Lincoln - the charismatic leader of United Nations -had suffered multiple nervous breakdowns but finally he made it to the position where he could have made everyone else nervous. Narendra Modi - the present Prime Minister of India - sold tea in the railway compartment when he visioned Made in India could sell so many things to the other nations.
The rule of the game is not to follow what every one else has been doing for rising the stairs of success but the rule is to set and curate one's own path of success, to follow that inner self which sets us free and makes us happy with what we are doing. The basic funda is assimilation of the good habits of people who have inspired us, building up ourselves around those habits, using those habits for building up our strategies and using them to extract the meaning of our dreams. And stopping not till we are able to hammer down our dream - our BLIND SPOT of success.
Humans are emotional and sensitive - they always connect to things which they like. So if you are doing what you like you will end up speaking directly from your heart and will end up convincing people who think in similar lines as you thinking. You will create a environment of like minded people who can be easily connected to and easily explained to do what is desired form them.
But in the process of building up yourself always remember - enjoy and do something which makes you happy. Leaders must ALWAYS do what they enjoy and keep on doing what they enjoy else they will perish sooner or later. Do not make yourself feel as a shrub planted in the wrong soil cause you will never grow up then. Always seed your dreams in the right soil and garner them constantly with right ingredients so that they flourish up good, healthy and fruitful.

What you SHOULD DO to make yourself as a strong and happy leader:-
  • PLAN: Set up serious and practical bullet points for achievement but do not be too serious about them. Learn to relax and enjoy. Learn to party and pat your back every time you tick off one bullet point.
  • TEAM-UP: Set up the right macro-plan, formulate a team, assign them their work, do regular monitoring and then micro sharpen the activities. Learn to engage the team in engaging them in a happiness drive and keep them pumped up for newer targets.
  • BE UPDATED: There will be newer things coming up everyday. Learn to invest time in assimilating them, updating and upgrading as per your liking and necessity of team building. Remember even the old versions of the softwares are rendered useless by the companies which have created them.
  • BE FLEXIBLE: Life is a new experience everyday. Remember the pareto principle - the 80/20 paradigm. Invest 20% of the time in planning what the rest of 80% is going to be all about. Things will not always work as you have planned, take up opportunities to amend as and when the time demands. It's the trees which stay stiff even in the cyclones which gets uprooted, but the green flexible stems dug deep into the soil wields the storms.
  • FOCUS ON YOUR STRENGTH : Remember your capabilities, your strong zones and your pit falls, always keep on attacking and challenging your strength limits, while shying away from your weaker points. A forward No-9 footballer cannot be a good goalie for the team- learn and find what is the best in you and then keep on sharpening those skills.
  • BE HAPPY: A Havard's review suggested that people are 83% more motivated to do stuffs that they usually would not do if they are internally happy and boosted. Imagine 83% more client - 83% more boost in revenue and that circumvents to 183% boost in profit chart - WOAOOOO - isn't it?
  • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: Nothing is more merrier in any business/ enterprise/ sports if you are able to keep your client/ critics/ fans happy and cherry. You can only satisfy them if you are happy and have the ability to solve their questions with happiness.
  • SHARE: Remember things that are unused will rot in times. Always share what you know and uplift people as you keep on moving forward. I quote Dr APJ Abdul Kalam here " Be nice to people while you go up, as they will be there on your way down".
So remember if you want to attain that supreme point of success - follow your instincts - QUIT from those daily instruction of "Do this do that" - follow your heart, find your strengths and do what makes you happy. Remember only people who love and enjoy what they are doing will end up climbing higher and higher.
